He was always fascinated by the precision, love and passion with which the chefs at Michelin star restaurants work. So it was quite obvious that he began his training as a chef in his home town Cologne, at the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. After completing his training, he was drawn to different star rewarded restaurants across Germany. His first travel destination was the “Haerlin” restaurant at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg. During this time he was able to refine his skills and broaden his horizon.
Followed by experiences in Munich, at “Atelier” restaurant at Bayrischer Hof and the restaurant “ENTE” at Hotel Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden he returned back to Munich where he was drawn to a new challenge. He likes to share his passion for good food with the guests and offer them a taste experience that always reminds them of a great evening at Grapes wine bar.
