The Grapes Cuvée

When we had the chance a year and a half ago, we did not hesitate for long and immediately went to Andi Rings near Freinsheim in Palatinate. The goal: Our first very own wine.

We could not decide on what kind of wine it should be. Actually, we prefer riesling.  Yet, the wine should not only taste good for us, but also for our guests.

Therefore, Andi and we decided on several Burgundy varieties, from which Andi had previously taken some barrel samples. Then we cuvéete them like the world champions.

It is said to be a light, fruity summer wine. But it was also important to us that the wine has enough strength and backbone – not to be an ordinary soup.

Why the Rings Winery?

Andi is a long-time friend and we appreciate and love his style. The facts that his winery has been a member of the VDP since 2015 and has been certified organic since 2017 are the ‘cherries on top’ for us.

The final cuvée consists of 40% Pinot Gris, 40% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay.

How and where you enjoy our wine is entirely up to you: whether as a glass on the terrace or the whole bottle at the bar or home – our wine will create a buzz everywhere.
